Sneak Peek!

Apologies for not posting anything recently, but the holidays were a wee bit crazy (to say the least).

In any case, Wee Folk Outfitters is still going strong, trying to keep up with gardening season orders and working on new door designs (and accessories, too).

This is the latest design (not yet finalized, but getting there). The tentative title is "Fairy Princess". I'm still working on the color scheme -- want something a little more "girlie" and "princess-like"... suggestions welcome!

Just in time for Christmas!

It's taken months for me to finalize this design, but it's finally ready and now available to order at WeeFolkOutfitters.com!

The "Christmas Chalet" is a charming little getaway perfect for Sugar Plum Fairies and Very Tiny Christmas Elves that will look lovely under your Christmas tree or on a shelf or fireplace mantel.

The Christmas Crunch here at the workshop is already underway, so order yours today to make sure you have it in time for the holidays!

Another new door design!

Introducing the latest door design from the Head Gnome... the "Pixie Portal".

This door is a little smaller than the others (4" x 5.5"), but every bit as nice. It features a red-washed door and brown-washed frame, all topped with red mahogany stain and trimmed out with handmade copper hardware.

Like all Wee Folk Outfitters fairy doors, this one comes with a pre-installed brass hanger and is signed and dated on the back by yours truly.

New Wee Folk Outfitters website launched!

It's taken me a while to get to it -- too busy filling door and window orders -- but I've finally finished the redesign and all the programming to launch the new Wee Folk Outfitters website at www.weefolkoutfitters.com.

The new site has the full line of Wee Folk Outfitters wares available to browse and purchase, plus more information about the company and products. You'll also find links to all the Wee Folk online storefronts (MintD, DaWanda, etc.) and the retailers who now carry my doors and windows, plus a form to request wholesale terms and pricing.

There are still quite a few things I plan on adding to it, but all the really important stuff is there. Look for a gallery of customers' fairy door installations, a Wee FAQ and Field Guide, and links to Wee-related websites and blogs. I'm also working on a new customization feature that will allow you to choose frame and door colors, hardware preferences, and even specify door sizes.

Check it out and let me know what you think (or if you happen to discover any bugs or other weirdness).

Wee now do windows!

It's been a long time coming, but I've finally finalized the matching window designs for Wee Folk fairy doors!

The windows are made from a solid piece of knotty pine and the details are burned into the wood using pyrographic techniques. They are then painted and stained to match the most popular Wee Folk fairy door models. Pictured above (left to right) are the "Hobbit" window, the "Gothic Arch" window (matches the "Harp Top" door) and the "Good Fortune" window, which complements the "Pagoda" door.

Windows retail for $9.95 each, $16.95/pair and can be customized to match the colors of any Wee Folk Outfitters fairy door.
